Amelia Jackson has been a driving force in crisis services in Michigan’s Community Mental Health Community. Amelia has a passion for crisis care and assisting families on some of their worst days. Amelia is dedicated to making a different and ensuring families and clients get the care they need, when they need it most. Amelia has worked with many different CMH partners to provide crisis services both within their communities and in their Emergency Departments. Amelia played a vital role in developing the Intensive Crisis Stabilization Program (ICSS) as well as the Youth and Family Care Connection both servicing children and adolescents and their families experiencing a mental health and behavioral health crisis. Amelia has dedicated over a decade of her career to helping communities access services and promote New Oakland’s mission of The Right Care at The Right Time.
