Amanda Mata, ASN, RN

Amanda began her journey with New Oakland in 2019 as a site nurse and quickly grew into leadership roles, becoming the organization’s first Nursing Supervisor, then Associate Director of Nursing, and now Director of Nursing. She leads a dynamic team across multiple programs, focusing on collaboration, team development, and high-quality client care. Drawn to psychiatric nursing by a fascination with the mind and a deep desire to uplift others, Amanda brings encouragement, empathy, and a listening ear to every interaction. She’s passionate about creating a supportive environment where people feel seen, valued, and inspired. Known for her authenticity, approachability, resilience, and calm leadership, she strives to leave a positive impact on everyone she meets.
